The "Triangle" is the site where chimpanzees are reintroduced back into the wild and is a forested zone of approximately 21 km². A camp divided into two different sections is used by the teams in charge of following up on the released chimpanzees. The camp is only accessible by boat.
Chimps are tracked on a daily basis during their excursions in order to learn more about their social behaviour, diet, encounters with other animals and their interaction with groups of wild chimpanzees.
